Booking Details:
I had a scheduled flight for Monday and I was only informed to book at this hotel on Friday afternoon which was barely two days. I called directly the assigned reservation officer through the mobile phone number provided to me and I was informed that they will facilitate the reservation and would send me a confirmation email. Since the rate provided to me was a corporate discounted rate, their online reservation cannot be used thus I cannot pay for it online. I was only instructed to provide my credit card details through fax using the form provided to me in the email with photocopy of my cc front and back. π I was cautious to provide such information with anyone either through fax or email as I fear on where my cc info might possibly land. I just told the reservation officer that I will pay for it directly at the hotel. Come Saturday, I did not receive any confirmation so I called again the reservation. It was only on Sunday when I finally had my confirmation email.π
Check-in and Stay:
After an hour of flight and another hour of land travel, I finally reached Be Grand Resort in the afternoon of Monday. It was a three day convention starting on Tuesday to Thursday thus there were many guests at the hotel at that time. When it was my turn for check-in, the officer requested for payment and immediately provided me the key cards for my assigned room. I was assisted by their staff up to my assigned room.
The room has one king-sized bed with clean white linens, It has an LCD screen with cable channel connection. It has full baths and complete toiletries good for two persons as the room that I had was for double occupancy.
I had a very relaxing stay at this hotel which I can honestly say that I enjoyed my solitude for all those four peaceful nights I spent here. It was made specially memorable with those "goodnight" special baked goodies that looks like oatmeal cookies that accompanied me while watching my favorite program on TV.
Checkout:
The checkout was a breeze as I only handed the key cards to the lobby officer and I was given a go in no time at all. π
