Located at Ngong Ping, Lantau Island Hongkong, this 34 m statue that depicts Gautama Buddha may not be the biggest Buddha statue in the world but still left me in awe. We had to ride a ferry from Hongkong Island to Lantau, ride a bus and take the more than 200 steps to see the statue up-close.
