Family Staycation at Hotel Jen Manila

The Story Behind the USS Pictures Part 2

After surviving an unforgettable ride at the Revenge of the Mummy, we looked for child-friendly ride for my little daughter and we found one at the Jurassic Park. I accompanied her to "Dino-soarin" flight ride while my husband and my son with her aunt looked for other interesting attraction. It took us longer at the queue than the ride itself which lasted only for less than 10 minutes. My daughter seemed to have liked it anyway even it made us a little dizzy going round and round.

It was a few minutes before one o’clock in the afternoon, we were all feeling hungry thus we decided to have a lunch break at the Discovery Food Court right there at the Lost World. The place was full of tourists and we had a hard time finding an available table. We had to wait for a family who was about to finish dining just to secure our own table. My husband and his sister already queued at the counter to order food and it was such a long wait. Luckily we had our own packed snacks and bottled water to calm our hunger pangs while waiting for the lunch. Food was served after twenty minutes, a late lunch indeed.

After a satisfying meal at Discovery Food Court, we trooped to Water World just in time for the 2PM show. We could have backed out when we saw multitude of people from different races, young and old alike waiting for the gates to open. We were almost a kilometer away from the gates thus while waiting there, we had a slight hesitation if we would ever get seats. Also, I had the funny feeling of being in one of the movies where people jostle each other to be first in line all in the name of survival. At last, when the gates opened, we eased our way through and found ourselves inside a big amphitheater enough to accommodate thousands of people. There were markings on the bench colored green and blue, just be smart enough to pick the perfect spot. As the title suggests, it’s a “water world” so be prepared for some splash. This was a very interesting and full-packed action stage play, guns and cannons seemed so real that would set your mood as if you were in a warzone. The actors and the lone actress did great stunts, two thumbs up for all of them. After the play we were lucky to have some photo op with the main actor and actress who played their roles very well.
